An adventure back to I-Shou International School

I visited I-Shou yesterday for internship possibility. Since Starlight International School, Kaohsiung Branch has been stocked, I don’t have any backups. I must do back to I-Shou and that is where the actual IB curriculum implements. I was worried about I would be rejected and had hard time making appointments with directors, but Iuckily, I have Principal Lee’s help. Everything went smoothly. I am looking forward to hearing form them. Ps. My dad had called someone to “walk through the backward door”. That was something surprised me…. Hope all is well.

Do good & good will come to you

Yesterday, after lingering and struggling, I finally called back to I-Shou. The purpose is to make appointments with the Principal, Dir of Personnel, and Dir of Academic Affairs. I was worried that someone would answered the phone and asked some questions that are hard to cope with. However, I git Sam, my school brother at Applied English Dept., who helped me to schedule  all the meetings and kindly called back to me. Wonderful! I was so glad and happy to meet old friends at IIS. See you guys on March 31. Best of luck to me!!!

Using my profession to make friends with kids

Recently I started tutoring kids English. They are beginners at K1. I taught them, “ What’s your nam? My name is….” They named their toy elephants with their imagination before going to bed. I taught them, “ I love you”. I realized that I had to break the words into chunks  like “ I “ and “ I love” and “ l love you” do that they got it little by little. I used to teach elementary pupils, so I was a bit surprised that building phonemic awareness with little kids is hard… However, I am happy that I apply my profession to make friends with the young kids!
